Edward Ratner
Edward Ratner is the Principal Investigator for the Robert Wood
Johnson Foundation Grant to the Minnesota Partnership to Improve End of
Life Care. He has been practicing internal medicine and geriatrics for the
past fifteen years. His received his undergraduate degree from Carlton
College and his medical degree from the University of Chicago. He is also
a graduate of the National Library of Medicine Medical Informatics
Fellowship Program. While Medical Director within the Allina health
system, he led an Institute for Health Care Improvement team on end-of
life-care focusing on advance care planning and bereavement. He is an
Assistant Professor in the University of Minnesota Medical School’s
Department of Family Practice and President-Elect of the American Academy
of Home Care Physicians.
