Linda Norlander
Linda Norlander is Project Director for the Minnesota Partnership to
Improve End of Life Care. She completed her undergraduate and graduate
work at the University of Minnesota in nursing and public health. She has
held clinical and management positions in hospice and palliative care in a
variety of health care organizations including North Memorial, Allina and
HealthPartners. She recently worked as the Project Manager for the Allina
End of Life Project. The project developed an advance care planning model
called "The Kitchen Table Discussion." She also worked on a
project to assess and intervene with patient suffering. She has presented
regionally and nationally on the "Kitchen Table Discussion",
patient suffering and hospice team work. In addition to co-authoring "Improving
End of Life Care Within An Integrated Health Care System" for the
Medical Journal of Allina, she co-wrote Hospice Care: A Physician’s
Guide and Choosing Hospice: A Consumer’s Guide. In her free time, Linda
writes humor and fiction.
